The meeting is intended for patients with Thyroid Eye Disease (TED), their families and carers, and members of the public including pupils interested in a career in biosciences or medicine. It will provide an opportunity for participants to find out about the latest advances and be involved in discussions with European and UK experts about the priorities of future research into TED. EUGOGO is a European consortium of academic centres of excellence committed to improve the care of people with TED through education and research. TEAMeD represents professional organisations (Royal College of Physicians, Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Scottish Ophthalmology Club, Society for Endocrinology, British OculoPlastic Surgery Society, British Thyroid Association) and patient-led organisations in the UK (British Thyroid Foundation and Thyroid Eye Disease Charitable Trust).
